Katey Sagal

A versatile, gifted actor, Katey Sagal is a talented actress and singer who excelled at comedy and drama. She was most well-known for her role in the role of Peg Bundy, a dazzlingly bold, unmistakable character on Fox's Married... with Children (1987). During its lengthy run she was awarded three Golden Globe and two American Comedy Award nominations. Peg Bundy was equally well-known and well-known as Katey, and she continued to star in television sitcoms. Los Angeles native Catherine Louise Sagal began performing at the tender age of five. She then went to school for acting and voice at the California Institute of the Arts. As a waitress who sang in her "salad" times, she started performing with the band "The Group With No name," then caught a break after hooking up with Gene Simmons and his 1970s rock band KISS. She gained valuable experience while working as a back-up singer to Simmons, Etta Jones, Tanya Tucker, and Olivia Newton-John. She was also dynamic in live performances with Bette Midler in the wild stage show of Bette Midler in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
