Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli-American singer and actress, was born on October 20th, 1983 in Herzliya, Israel. She started her career as a soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces. Her acting debut was in an Israeli film in 2003. Alongside her roles in Israeli films, she composed numerous tracks with Subliminal. Tal was able to move in with her sister in New York to take a vacation from her professional life. In the song "Party to Damascus" she performed in an arrangement with Wyclef Jean from Haiti. American television also helped her establish herself with a recurring role on the series Veronica Mars. She initially attempted to audition for the role of the lead, but the show's creator Rob Thomas created a new character for her. Tal eventually got an ongoing role in the CBS series. After making the move to New York, he appeared in two television shows in Israel. Recorded a song with singer Wyclef Jean. Hebrew is her mother tongue. Second place in the auditions for the role as Veronica Mars (2004). She was originally auditioned and Rob Thomas' second choice. Thomas loved her so much, he made the recurring role Meg Manning for her. The actress was part of The Israel Defense Forces. Her parents are Jewish as is her father who is a Turkish/Jewish man and her has a Polish/Jewish mother. As Adrian's daughter, she plays Monk's murderous wife in the final episode of the final season of Monk (2002).Has an infant daughter, Charlie Ferraez (b.March 7, 2017) along with her husband Marcos A. Ferraez.

After studying improv at Chicago's Second City and Improv Olympic in the early 1990s, Poehler co-founded the improvisational-comedy troupe Upright Citizens Brigade.
